City Councilmembers across the Inland Empire are uniting in support of Mayor Don Kurth (R-Rancho Cucamonga) for State Assembly in the 63rd District.
“Mayor Don Kurth is a tax fighter with a strong record for creating jobs and opposing wasteful government,” declared San Bernardino City Councilman Chas Kelley. “He won’t be afraid to take on the big spenders in Sacramento.”
“I’m proud to support Dr. Don Kurth to succeed Assemblyman Bill Emmerson,” said Rancho Cucamonga Mayor Pro Tem L. Dennis Michael. “His leadership will make a difference for our local communities.”
“Republicans can count on Don Kurth to oppose higher taxes. Don is a dedicated advocate for taxpayers and small businesses,” stated Grand Terrace City Councilwoman Bea Cortes.
“Don’s proven record of fiscal management is sorely needed at the State Capitol,” said Loma Linda Mayor Pro Tem Rhodes Rigsby.

Don Kurth is the elected Mayor of Rancho Cucamonga, the largest City wholly located within the 63rd District. He has also served as a City Councilman and Cucamonga Water District Trustee. A Physician and former local Chamber of Commerce President, Dr. Kurth currently owns a local Urgent Care Medical Clinic and serves on the Faculty at the Loma Linda University Medical Center. He is also the incoming National President of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Don is married to Dee Matreyek.
