Today at 3:49pm PST I noticed a tweet from Meg Whitman that was re-broadcast through her Facebook Fan page. It read:
“RT @tuckerbounds: After getting caught, @stevepoizner blatantly misrepresents his DOI record again today http://bit.ly/2Fpfmi #catcot #cagop”
You’ll see in the screen shot below her re-tweet going out, yet on her page it has clearly been deleted.
The video is actually fairly non-descript, you can see it here.
Poizner’s claim is that his department started with 1,300 authorized positions and now has 1,100. He finishes that he is “the only person in Sacramento history that’s ever downsized anything.”
I’d like to hear from Whitman exactly how he misrepresented the facts, I don’t know his track record like the back of my hand. But to immediately delete her RT is a bit fishy.
As of 4:08pm it remains on her Fan Page, and as you can see includes a question from me for her to explain.
Also, no response from the Poizner camp. We’ll wait and see.
