Yep, true story. But no, they didn’t ‘unfollow’ her. Whoever mans her twitter account apparently didn’t know you could go into ’settings’ and change your username…. ya.
On Monday, her facebook fan page announced her new twitter name as @SarahPalinUSA. Now, keep in mind her old username, @AKGovSarahPalin not only had 152,000 followers, but has a ‘verified account’ tag next to it.
Her new account doesn’t even show up when you type in “Sarah Palin” in the ‘Find People’ section. Now, I happen to like Sarah – she wasn’t my choice for Vice President, but she’s a good lady. But whoever made the decision to start from scratch instead of simply changing the username and bio should be fired. I know plenty of political social media companies that will help you out for close to nothing.
