Hi, my name is Allan Bromanich and I am one of the Founders of DrunkonPolitics.com. One of my beliefs – and I have many – is that Americans are trending away from Political Parties and are tired of business as usual. Here in America, we find ourselves in a situation unlike any we’ve ever seen before. Two decades of Presidents who believe in a large, powerful federal government have combined to essentially take over our economy. Our banks are no longer truly privatized, our motor vehicle companies are now owned by the corrupt Union leaders that bankrupted them in the first place, and our States have had most of their power usurped by the big thumb of Federal government.
At the same time, we are on the brink of our era’s version of the industrial revolution. Like the 18th and 19th centuries, when the entire mode of operation around the world was changed, so too are we seeing a revolution today. Social media has turned our old style of thinking completely around. It is my belief that in the next two to four years social media will be completely integrated into our everyday lives and will completely change – and even revolutionize – the way companies and individuals do business around the world.
So where do we go from here? Can we ignore the signs and indications economists such as Peter Schiff have foretold? Will the rise of social media get us through this recession like the internet and real estate booms have in the past? Or will inflation finally catch up to us with the trillions of dollars being printed to bailout the banks and ‘stimulate the economy’?
It is my belief that despite our short term growth on Wall Street, our economy’s fundamentals are in trouble. Unemployment, historically high taxation, and a weak dollar are strong signs of trouble ahead; and the amount of government spending (see your tax dollars) has ballooned higher than any other time in history. However, I believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it begins with you, me and the revolution ahead.
It is time to get back to our Nations roots, and to go back to the writings and beliefs of our Founding Fathers. The Constitution is being trampled today, and it is time to utilize social media to educate ourselves and take our country back.
Social media and the rise of microblogging is a fundamentally new way of communicating. People from anywhere in the world can interact instantly, and we are only beginning to skin the surface of possibilities. Through increased interaction and communication of ideas – and with your help – I hope to educate Americans on where their tax dollars are going, and to also showcase the power of social media in business and politics to help get us out of this tough economic time.
I will do my best not to speak in partisan tones, but rather display a narrative of what is going on in America, and how we can get through it together. Americans need to stop thinking in purely Party terms, but rather look at individual policies and make educated decisions on what they truly believe. I will do my best to inform you, and I only ask that you share this information to others if you truly believe in it.
